I am Leonidas, king of Sparta. I not going to talk much about my life because that’s what girls do, we Spartans are men! When the Persian tried to attack Greece, I led my army down to defend against them. Even though we are out number by a lot, we didn’t mind, if we die, we die in honour. The battle ground was at Thermopylae. In Thermopylae we were able to stop them from passing by, but soon a local Greek told Xerxes, the Persian king that were a little path around the mountains to pass. Soon after, the Persians were able to surround us. I know we were going to lose so I sent away most of my man. I was left with 300, but that was more than enough. We stood on our ground and attempt to fight back. Even though we lost in the battle of Thermopylae and I died in that battle, it was a great sacrifice. This shows that we Spartans were not scary to die and we are always willing to make a sacrifice for the good of others.
